lyrics:
Run, run, run with the railroad
When their backs are turned
Run for the fences, Riley
When their backs are turned
Follow the railroad, Riley
When their backs are turned
Up over the mountains, Riley
When their backs are turned
You’ll find the place you’re promised
When their backs are turned
Run, run, run with the railroad
When their backs are turned
Run, run, run with the railroad
When their backs are turned
Run, run, run with the railroad
Get out of their sight
When the engine turns
And you’ve got to move on
Then you’ve got to move on at night
Ooooh-ooooh
Ooooh
Not a sound
Ooooh-ooooh
Ooooh
Not a sound
Not a sound
Not a sound

“Goodnight, Texas is an American folk rock band named after the town of Goodnight, Texas, the geographic midpoint between the working locations of songwriters Avi Vinocur (formerly of The Stone Foxes) in San Francisco and Patrick Dyer Wolf in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The band has performed in the tiny town of Goodnight three times as of 2017.” (wikipedia)

hope you have a great day!
thanks for stopping by!!
This is a really good song! I’d not heard of this band before, so thanks! I like their name, and how they came to call themselves that. And I looked and Goodnight, TX is right down the road from us about 100 miles. Yay! 🙂
That’s really cool! Glad you like it 🙂
I find a lot of “new” songs on Pandora, thanks to my son.
