Be the Help

There is so much confusion and sadness in this world
because the darkness of the Devil reigns in so many places.
It doesn’t take much more hardships added to someone’s life
–when they don’t have their hope grounded in Jesus
–to bring despair to their lives.

But it also doesn’t take much to shed some light into their life by helping in the ways that we can.
The Holy Spirit will show us, point out those who need that little help and what we can do.

When someone is teetering between just handing on and despair it doesn’t take much to topple them.
But it also doesn’t take much to steady them. It only takes caring and showing that care by action.

No matter how often the Bible teaches about the small things mattering,
and that tiny is not tiny used in God’s service,
we still imagine that our little part doesn’t make a difference.
So often we neglect our little part as unnecessary or unneeded.
But it is very necessary and very needed.

It is one of the reasons God brings rain and sunshine on the just and the unjust.
There are those around the unjust that especially need encouraging.
And the unjust themselves may find hope in a sunrise or rain on parched land
that awakens something in them that leads them to Jesus.

We can be that sunshine in the dark places.
We can be that rain on the parched land.

Yes, it will sometimes take stepping out of our comfort zone to help another,
but Jesus stepped out of His comfort zone in Heaven for us.
And He brought the Light of the World down to us!

Stay strong! Be the help that someone needs!

Hebrews 13:16
Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

Galatians 6:2
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Acts 20:35
In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way
we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said,
‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

…this doesn’t mean that we allow people to walk all over us, to use us – but do good, help others when you can.

hope you have a great day!
thanks for stopping by!!
