A cowboy walks into a saloon for a drink. Unfortunately, the locals always had a habit of picking on strangers and, when he had finished his drink, he found his horse had been stolen.

He walks back into the bar, flips is gun into the air and catches it and fires a shot into the ceiling. “Which one of you sidewinders stole my horse?” He yells. No one answers.

“Alright, I’m going to have another beer, and if my horse ain’t back outside by the time I finish, I’m gonna do what I done in Texas! And I don’t want to have to do what I done in Texas!” The cowboy, true to his word, had another beer, walked outside, and his horse had been returned.

Before he leaves town, the bartenders asks, “Say partner, what happened in Texas?”

The cowboy replies, “I had to walk home.”
