Slow and Steady

Oct 26, 2019

I know you’ve gotten used to me posting late in the afternoon…just letting you know how things are going and all that. And since today is technically a “Carefree Saturday”, I won’t go into to much detail.

Honestly, I really don’t know if I’ll keep “Carefree Saturday’s” going, since I am no longer working…as a caregiver especially. I had originally started it because of my job, but now? I probably won’t need it. But at the same time, I don’t really know where I’m going from here, so…it might turn into an everyday thing, late in the afternoon. Like I’ve been doing…only the future knows!!

Anyway, I kinda took it easy today, since I pulled the muscle in my back. I am doing much better today, and I was able to help my boyfriend with the top of the tree that fell earlier in the week. Or was it last week? You know, the first top that came down, not the one that fell on the roof. I will show you pictures of that tomorrow…it’s going to be a long post, just to forewarn you!

Enough rambling…on to the post!

Hope you enjoy!

pretty in red

I pulled this maple up that was growing in one of my gardens. I don’t really need to have any more maples growing on my property! They may be pretty, but they are weak.

the other side

Didn’t really turn out the way I had hoped, but I still like it!

fall Susan

Some of the pictures I took with my cell phone (the ones without (c)HCMorris2019), everything else I took with my Canon. My intention was to get some photos for tomorrow, but then I realized I could use some of them for here and now! So…these are fresh, brand new. I’ve got plenty to show you tomorrow!

red orange and brown

I will probably have some leftover photos…like I usually do! But that’s no big deal. I’d rather have too many than not enough. Sometimes, it takes me a some time to get motivated to take photos, but once I get motivated… watch out! ‘Cause almost nothing will stop me!

late bloomer

That’s about all I have for today! It’s getting late (later than I normally post, I know – sorry about that!) and I need to check and see if my boyfriend needs any help (he’s out cutting wood, before it starts raining)

Tomorrow is Navy Day (Go Navy!!), National Mother-in-Law Day, and National Black Cat Day (does that mean I have to treat my cat differently?).

Hope you have a great day, night or evening – where ever you may be!

Thanks for stopping by!!
