On Saturday, I celebrated another year on this earth! I honestly don’t feel any different.

My boyfriend got me a galvanized steel watering can and some garden tools. As a gardener, I really appreciate this!

The Pinocchio book is copyrighted 1936…you may or may not remember me posting not so long ago that I wanted to get the original copy (in English) of Pinocchio. The original is much darker than the Disney tale and I really wanted to find a copy of it for my collection. I haven’t read it yet, but it doesn’t look like the Disney tale. I Wish I Had Duck Feet is an old Doctor Seuss book, and Racso and The Rats of Nimh is a book my son picked out for me, that I have not read yet. All three will be added to my collection, obviously.

Today, it has been snowing off and on…again! And the forecast is calling for freezing rain Wednesday morning. I guess I’ll have to cover my Bleeding Hearts, which have started growing…I guess March is going out like a lion! I am so ready to get busy working on my gardens, but I guess it’s not supposed to happen yet. I’ve done some cleaning out, getting rid of overwintering debris, but haven’t gotten everything ready for spring. I guess that’s a good thing, with old man winter still trying to make his presence known.

A couple hours ago we got a warning for a snow squall with white out conditions, but it never happened.

The convoy headed to Harrisburg PA this morning for a rally! Sometime later this week they will be heading back to California to protest some bills that are heading to the floor there. The bills they are protesting, I believe, have something to do with the public school system, vaccines and parental consent – or lack thereof. From what I understand, they will allow 12-year old’s to make their own medical decisions, force or allow law enforcement to step in…there’s some other things as well, but at the moment I can’t remember. Anyway, I listened to the rally earlier and there were some really good speakers, people that have been harmed by the vaccines, doctors and the like. And wouldn’t you know, I can’t find any of the streams…so, here’s a link from last nights meeting at the racetracks. The fun stuff really starts around the 34 minute mark.
